Hey, your channel is the best van-life channel. Great production all around. Florida has So Many great parks. I recommend Kathryn-Abbie Hanna park. It has trails, beaches, bikes (rentals), rafting, even little cozy cabins with AC/heat -and, of course, showers.

Just a couple recommendations for your way home: 1) The Great Smokey Mountains NP 2) Mammoth cave NP (largest network of caves in North America) 3) if you go east, drive blue ridge highway up to new river gorge NP and Shenandoah NP. It’s one long road that goes from TN,GA,SC,NC,WV If you do go to Shenandoah NP, Leary caverns is there as well. Largest cavern in North America. I guess caves and caverns are different lol You’re near congaree NP in South Carolina, but it’s honestly just a swamp lol I was highly disappointed. Anyway, safe travels!

Ahh bummer about Congaree! I planning on stopping on the way home. I wanted to do all of those places but I'm afraid I might be rushing a bit to get back. We will see though!! Can't beat the smokies or mammoth caves though!!

There were no alligators in these mangroves! but there are in other places that i saw when i visited the Everglades!

I too love a good exhibit 😅 the person explaining the lil zombie tooth fish to you was so cute! Are there any gators in that water? 😮 also, how awesome are mangroves just put there thriving in the salt water? Come visit St Lucia Wetland Park in South Africa and see some more amazing mangrove forests and elephants, hippos, crocodiles, rhinos, giraffes, leopards, buffalo, etc 🌍 Edit: did you end up building a storage shelf above your drivers cab area?

Love me a new park and a patch!! Thanks for keeping up on my shorts! I've been having fun with them. The guy telling me about the zombie (parrot fish haha) was so sweet! He was a volunteer who grew up near my hometown which is crazy. No gators in that water, but there will be SO many gators in my next couple videos! St Lucia Wetland Park sounds AMAZING! WOW! And yes I have a new storage shelf, video coming soon on how I made it!

You're almost in my neighborhood! I'm a vanlifer in Key West. Glad you had fun in Biscayne & the Everglades. I've got to get off my butt and start filming. If you do end up down here in the Florida Keys say hi, I can help with recommendations for parking and the ever needed showers. Check out Julia Dutra's video, she was just down here a few weeks ago.

Hi! Maybe a stupid question, but do you do a quick workout then shower or just go straight to the shower at PF. Do the employees ever say anything?

Not stupid at all! I do usually do a quick run and maybe some weights if I'm feeling it, especially on long driving days, just to move my body a bit. BUT I have no shame in just walking in, getting a shower, and heading out haha! I don't think anyone has ever noticed lol, definitely have never said anything! Not gonna lie, I feel weird when I go in for just the shower and then a massage chair because I have to ask for them to set it up HA

I did this trip in early spring and it wasnt too bad, but i dont think i would have been able to survive any later in the year!
