instead mahisama, its better just "hisama" or "susama", mahisama more likely means "to be like", because to the affix "ma"

Syempre dili gyod nako kalimtan ang akong nakat unan nga lengwahe cebuano or bisaya mas comportable ako sa akong lengwahe...

I miss speaking bisaya. I grew up in Bansalan up until I was 8. I spoke bisaya. Then moved to Kawit Cavite had to speak tagalog. I forgot to speak bisaya. Then at 11 moved to California and spoke english. I speak taglish. I can understand bisaya. Now I'm 48 and it's hard to speak bisaya. I need to move back to Philippines. It's really good to hear bisaya being spoken. Please do more bisaya. Thanks from Temecula California.

I like how even in bisaya different regions prefer using different words in the same context. They said 'Maayo najud kaayo ka mag bisaya' but I would say 'Hawd najud kaayo ka mag bisaya'. I also prefer saying 'Kadali lang' instead of 'Kadyot ra' 😁

True. Bisaya has huge variety man gyud depend which region ka gapuyo. You will really know the distinction and by that you can identiy aha s'ya particular nga lugar gikan hehehe..like mga taga-Davao you can identify them kay most likely when they speak, they often have tagalog words. While ang mga taga-western mindanao or northern mindanao, wala. Sa Bohol sad kay naay 'J' ilang mga ubang words and they have hard or something glottal accent. Dayun ang taga-Cebu kay wala silay 'L' sa ilang mga word. Like pula= puwa, balon= Bawn, wala= waaa, Dalan= daaan..mga ing-ana. Dayun though all variety of bisaya often use Spanish vocabulary pero ang taga-Cebu has most "lalom" or unsual nga Spanish word nga ginagamit nga wala sa ubang bisaya like happy or malipayon sa ila ila kay "Alegre".."Sista"...such words nga mga ing-ana.
