Im now 20 and lived far away from my mum due to studying. This year is the first time I celebrate my birthday without my mum by my side. When you mention 'how many birthday he will spend at home' bring me into tears. My mum always throw the best birthday for me so ig she also have that thoughts too. お誕生日おめでとうございます Sくん! And you too Linna with your big boy :) Time goes so fast sometimes. I see it with my daughter, she's is almost 9 years old.Just a couple of months to go. So sweet to hear that he appreciates the effort you put into decorating the wall. And so sweet how you made his birthday cake. I'm not that creative, but my mom lives closeby so she has been making a birthday cake each year. Hahaha his reaction to the new game is priceless!! My daughter can react the same when she gets something she really wants (such as the new pokemon game coming up this week that we give for Christmas). Dinner you made looks delicious! The cucumber sticks remind me of summer in Japan. My daughter usually choses french fries and snack as her birthday dinner or Dutch style pancakes. Or perhaps pizza. So different from me when I was a child; I always choose Chinese food.
