Newtown 😨 Birmingham has a lot of "interesting" areas to have a look around. I think Ladywood is still the most deprived area in the UK. I'm from Small Heath so not having a pop, love my city but like most of our big cities, its gone down the shitter. KRO

It’s interesting when you show this side of the uk. A lot of London has been gentrified and sometimes it’s mind blowing seeing these huge estates next to nice areas. As an American I can’t really relate to that but when you visit areas outside of London it surprised me that you will still find poor areas segregated away from the rich ends. You should try to do more hoods outside of london and show the whole of the uk

But these areas have always been like this, they are not "worse" just they are still as crap as ever, on the other hand many areas are actually better, I lived in Newtown 40 years ago, it was horrible then just as it is horrible now, it just hasnt improved
