FatRats Birmingham Rollers No problem! You got my sub. And I do got a question, I have a pair that have been on their egg since the 7th of this month and it's almost the end of the month already. You think it'll hatch anytime soon?

GOD is good. Most eggs take 18 days to hatch but can sometimes go a few days past that. If it doesn't hatch in the next day or two it's not fertile. One way to check the eggs is placing the egg on a flashlight, if you can see the light through it it's no good, if it looks dark inside then it's fertile and should hatch between 18-21 days. You can began to check for fertility at around 8 days, you will see a few red veins appear.

GOD is good. Hey man, sorry about to laye reply been real busy lately. But all has been well this year except for the common lost of birds to the hawks and falcons. I've bred about 150 this year and still have a few pairs going. I'm glad I was able to help you with your questions and good job raising the squabs, how are they doing in the air?

Hy how do you train rollers to roll together

So in those boxes - can you show how they get sunlight. I like your set up very much. I have weasels here and your set up looks like it would be weasel free - but - if I can't fly them every day - how do you let the light in? Can you show please? Wow - what birds you've got! Thanks!

Z Cross Thanks! My double kit boxes are 45" wide on each side, 36" deep and 4' tall. And my break up box for my breeders are 4' wide, 4' tall and 36" deep. Most guys have small spaced kit boxes because they say it makes the birds kit tighter. But my birds still kit very tight and have a comfortable amount of space.
