Birds - Survivalists with special powers | DW Documentary
Almost of a third of all birds in the US have disappeared since 1970. That’s just under three billion animals. In Europe, the number has been decimated by around 25 per cent. Climate change and the destruction of natural habitats pose the greatest challenges. Conservation efforts are more urgent than ever.

I talk with birds sometimes, I have watched them since my childhood they are still my friends today.
Some parrots got loose in San Francisco during a pet store fire and have established a little colony downtown. They will fly into your hands and let you feed them. It's pretty incredible, I highly recommend the experience if you're ever in the city. Ask a local, they will know the exact location. Or Google it, it's common knowledge by now. They are most active in the evening.

As an avid bird watcher and photographer from Montreal, Canada, I thank you for presenting us with this amazing documentary. Montreal had many big parks where we see a huge variety of birds. We always anticipate the month of May as it is the month for bird migration.

Thank you for this documentary, DW! We are happy that we are collaborating to keep birds roaming freely. (We provide silicone covers to avoid bird electrocutions.)
The country with most birds is Colombia 🇨🇴 in South America, home to 1878 different species of birds, the most number of bird species for any country.

@mrunkown7871 wouldn't call it old growth as all the trees were taken 40 years ago...they are taking out what grew back. 1000 acres always taken last winter. Same to be done again beside it. Moving in mineral explorarion instead of replanting.
Beautiful Documentry I love birds

We in Canada take our responsibility to nature extremely seriously, especially our birdlife, with protected migration pathways among many other ventures. In essence, we have their backs !! 🇨🇦
No mention about the issues that matter such as microplastics, PFAS, PFOS, and other chemicals. This mentioned DDT as though it was the final victory. I was expecting better.
Thank you Dw documentary for brining this content to public. Most of the projects are human centered and it’s sad that we are not putting efforts for the wellbeing of those around us, after all we are merely the small part of this nature. Every species is equally as important as human to maintain healthy ecosystem. Watching from Nepal🙏🏻
They are all at my cabin!❤😂
I love birds , I used to feed them bread ,in that interim they brought me a mulberry tree . Now days I dont feed them ppl food they eat the berries n bugs ❤but, the light at night ,I have here on a 6 lane road is a nightmare of chronic noise I cant shut out or off outside 😢 but my birdies are tough and they know me . I've had soo many gens of families have thier babies in my area lol its SAFE ❤THEY KNOW IT ❤
Regardless that some bird species are facing extinction, at least they are living a free life to the end, whereas domesticated birds (chickens and turkeys) are slaughtered mercilessly each day for mass consumption.
Man, that tokens experiment: Mind blown!
Heartwarming video
Revux is being mentioned everywhere - definitely a project to watch!

DW Thank You. I miss the male hummimgbird that would do arial displays in front of my balcony. This was the first time this year no male hummingbirds here. Its been very cold for May. Not many insects due to the cold. and rain. Keep informing people. We can make different choices. It was very sad for me to see roundup on sale in a flyer from Home Hardware. The planet does not need any more poisons. West Kootenays British Columbia.
Scientists always doing weird sh- I mean I get that they’re doing something for conservation and record keeping but its weird to trap the birds and handle/tag them 😮

Sitting in an outdoor restaurant in CA I watched a Blue Jay stalk a man and his lunch. When the man wasn’t paying attention, the Jay swooped in and took a whole fish taco and flew off out of sight. 🌮🦅

❤❤❤❤❤
We humans must respect nature.. In India we called mother nature. We should plant trees more n more to save earth.
Will Revux outpace XRP in the next pump? Looks promising!
kind of funny that some scientists are trying to preserve birds some are preparing advance technology to wipe them even quicker

The disappearance of species and plant life is threatened by people who are in denial of their particular behavior of consuming objects for sale on an infinite basis. One car does not last a lifetime in societies of this kind, rather, because cars are made as objects for sale one lifetime consumes 10 cars.

at 14:01 is such a interesting information. Bolivian' cities are becoming noisy hells. not only because of un regulated traffíc, (motorcycles specially) but cars too. add to this informal vendors using speakers. small business with speakers on the sidewalks...plus (every single day of the week....totally unsanctioned use of fireworks any day of the year. even for protests fire works are used, predinamite explotions on the main squares. no joke...... Noise has becoming NORMALIZED here and it is a DISASTER to birds... it is true. the only day we had real peace was the two firsts days on the pandemic...... but in the end was a tragedy because from there, Illegal motorcycles increased exponencially. and it haven't stopped.
Presales have the highest returns, and Revux is the best one I’ve seen.
Imagine being delusional enough that you think you can count all the birds in a given country. 🤦

The post is German? What is up with the American birds???? I don't think I can remember seeing the red bird when I was in Northern and Central Europe... I'm living in the US nowadays... In central Florida close to the Tampa Bay area.... Having no plans for going back to Europe or, anywhere else these days...Too old and, etc, etc!!!!
Revux tip-off - this token is heading for the moon!
Leave the birds alone, you weirdos. They already have a difficult enough time without being kidnapped and traumatized every day. 🤦
Not real
