i personally liked the movie cause have the time it seemed mystical and shit. like what the fuck was on about the jungle club where they ate worms lmao. but i did like the storyline, it was just about ballet. and the struggles.

I like these two ladies and I like the movie..... but I have the issue with the director and writer , I am not sure why so many ballet movies and show had to always have this female and female kissing and love making in it.... somehow why can't the director don't do that , why does the movie always have to be so sexualised into female kissing female to get people excited .. ..... why .....why can't we have a ballet movie that is not so sexualised,,,,,

So I saw another portion of this interview where these model / actresses were talking about how intense their ballet training was for this movie. However, neither of them had a prior history of serious dance training, so it's very implausible they did much of their own dancing in this film. It's just gross how deceptive everyone in the movie industry is and how stupid they think moviegoers are. It's also highly disrespectful to the art of ballet and ballet dancers to pretend an adult beginner can perform advanced ballet steps after weeks or months of training a la Natalie Portman. And the whole charade is pointless because the movie was just silly.

Ballerinas do ballet, actresses do acting, that's it. If you want to see real dancing, you should probably buy a ticket to a ballet show, what's the problem? Films are not about being 100 percent true, they are about telling us stories. And the only thing that is "highly disrespectful" is your underestimation of other people's efforts. Have a good day 💜
