Mack is a good truck will last forever but. Rides real hard I've driven frontloader for WM for 20 years. The best one I've driven is the Volvo White.

I’m a swing driver from Illinois. Loved running commercial frontload. Just a big toy. I have lucky to learn all the trucks in our fleet which makes my many years working enjoyable and exciting. Great video. I can’t wait to see what you produce in the future.

Eric you are right on the money. Some people think that just because you are driving a front loader garbage truck that all you do is sit in the cab and drive the thing. This video speaks the truth. I like these kind of videos as it teaches people about what it is like to drive these things. As we see here, sometimes some businesses have to lock their dumpsters to keep kids out of them. You as a driver can't see what is in that dumpster half of the time and the motor is so loud on these things that if there was a human inside the dumpster, you couldn't hear the screams from behind you. What I don't like what many trash hauling CEOs are doing to these companies is that they ban this kind of activity. One guy working for a hauler in Vancouver, BC and did something this grand and great and some idiot snitched on him and got him kicked off of his route.

Fantastic video series. Gives people a great idea of what the job entails. It ain't all sunshine and rainbows but it's a great place to be. I've been driving front load for 2 years and it's one of the best places to be. Kudos to you Eric. 😃

Looking into joining a friend who does this now. Told me all what he does and how he goes about his day. The pay is crazy good!!! I've seen what he makes and where I work at now is a dead end job. Hopefully its as fun as he makes it out to be.

to what you said at 6:23 I deliver pizzas. People think because I do deliveries all I do is drive and bring the food to customers at home. That could not be further from the truth. At my store the drive also helps to make the food, take orders, help out with the cleaning, do the dishes, and take out the trash. All for only 4.50 an hour plus tips and delivery reimbursement of 2.08.

As a trash driver with over 10 years in front load rear load automated and roll off you give good representation of the business. A company as big as wsi they would invest in front load cans with auto locks.. much better system

A little bit on the rough side there.... Known as driver abuse no need to drive so fast through the parking lot and slow down a little bit on the bumpy road I can here the noises the truck is making . Be professional and safe . Take better care of the we equipment less breaking down.

Hey man this was a cool perspective, but I LOVED the other in-cab vids with the cam mounted behind you, make some more! :) Also, I'm 24 with my NYS Class A CDL and I'm trying to get into a front loader position with progressive here on long island. I emailed them and never heard back, any tips for making an entry into this career? Are most companies willing to train? I'm a very skilled driver I've just never operated a FL. Thanks

I would have backed into those parking spots and pulled into traffic. I always look for an alternative to backing into traffic. Account isn't worth your safety

Heck yeah they do. I drive one for a city government. Park it and right it up if the ac dont work. You learn to keep the window up because of trash juice and water coming out of dumpsters
