He wanted to go and we had a blast. He was 55. I was like, why would he even want to go? They had a back dat azz up contest on stage. He absolutely loved it! I'm 50 now and I would still go see CM in concert when they tour near me. I miss you, daddy! RIHP🕊🤍

Totally enjoyed Juvenile!! I can see why some are saying the whole show could've been better organized, It's their first year at Essence. I hope Essence organizers make Cash Money Millionaires a regular yearly like they did with Maze. Cash Money Millionaires are a New Orleans favorite, and deserve a spot on the main stage yearly!! I never ever pay attention to essence fest and just wrote it off as something I never saw myself traveling to attend. As a New Orleans native i know how hot the summers are and refuse to visit at that time. This lineup wasn't on my radar at all. I probably would have went this year if i knew this particular line up was performing.

I walked out along with a bunch ot other folks on Juvie last song because we thought it was over. If they weren't going to be on the stage together they could've had Wayne with a longer set in the middle after BG. Those other artists for a Cash Money reunion made no sense. Wayne could've brought 2Chains out and performed Duffle Bag Boy and that would've made more sense...So disappointed. It could've been so much better.
