Birding Desert National Park (featuring GREAT INDIAN BUSTARD & GREY HYPOCOLIUS)

A video essay of the birdlife during a short stay in 'DNP'. We spent 3 days birding the wider area, seeing many amazing birds, including a flock of Great Indian Bustard and the first ever Grey Hypocolius for the site!

Absolutely brilliant documentary. 👍 Wish Indians would be as interested in our rich wildlife as they are in cricket and stupid Bollywood

Thanks Gautam. It has been heartening on both my visits to India the increasing number of people enjoying nature and its conservation. Hopefully it continues to grow so more people can enjoy and protect the incredible environments in India!

I would look up a tour company called Asian Adventures (asianadventures.net/) They sorted everything for our entire tip including accommodation and sites to visit. Our trip wouldn't have been half as successful without them!

We visited in January and it was a great time to catch up with a lot of the specialities. Good time for the Bustard, Stoliczka's bushchat and Larks. Plus an added bonus with the flock of Hypocolius!
