You may have missed your ferry Simon but those end of video shots looked really great - not only nice and sharp but also liked the inclusion of surrounding habitat gives the image a "feeling of place".👍

@@simoneardley I think I may have seen a shortie on a recent trip to Cregennan Lakes in North Wales if your ever looking for different places to visit. Also there are several Osprey centres in North Wales.

What a marvelous experience that must have been! I've Very cute! much enjoyed watching the video Simon and just buy the 600mm, you only live once that's my motto 😁!!

Great video mate some stunning shots glad you got the weather. Going to Mull in Sept was supposed to be doing the Mull Charter, but due to logistics ( we are going with friends ) Ive had to take a rain check a bummer really, but after watching yours and Richards vids I will certainly be going back on our own. Anyhow hope you both got back safe and sound look forward to the next one mate stay safe. 📸 👍. ps hope you downed a few of the McEwans 😂

Cracking Simon, I use a Neewer F100 4K monitor, cheap as chips, does the job ! Keep up the good work ;-)

Great video Simon. The feelworld monitors are good for the cost. I believe it’s the same one that Richard Birchett uses. I use one on my Nikon D5 for checking focus on stills, haven’t got into video yet but I would highly recommend one of these monitors for the cost.

Hi Sarah, to be honest theres species everywhere. A slow drive past some of the many roadside lochs usually yields results. Just be patient and keep your eyes peeled. Have a great trip👀📷👍🏼

Thanks Martin, when I'm filming I use manual focus. I've just bought a 7" monitor for on top of the camera to hopefully make it a bit easier.🎥🎥👍🏼

In the video you mentioned about getting a longer lens. Have you tried the Olympus EM1x with the 300mm F4 pro is lens or 100-400mm is or even better the 150-400mm f5.6. The focal lengths are doubled as its micro 4/3rds. You can see images taken with some of the combinations I mentioned here on my website. www.chasethelight.co.uk/

I'll have a look at the images. At the moment I'm probably just looking at Nikon due to the cost of switching to another system. Never say never though 👍
