Today I am out to explore a variety of habitats to find and photograph some of the early migrant birds in the area, specifically the warblers. These small songbirds make long migrations into the northeast every year to breed and I want to head out to see what has already arrived in my local forest.
I was really pleased with the number and variety of species I was able to find and even found a bird I have never seen before as well as an owl!
