Visited both and love them but Singapore Bird Paradise is outstanding. The best thing about Singapore was there were no cages at all for the birds. All the birds were totally free and had huge areas to fly free and they had fruit etc available everywhere. Luxury for birds and for people visiting too. Can’t wait to go back. ❤

Singapore has very limited resources to begin with. Of course, had to be man-made. The marvel of creating a paradise out of nothing is to be appreciated, not for comparison. Singapore is a resilient country, everyone worked hard and will make it work for the next generation ❤

I'm looking forward to the opening of the next parks in Mandai, like the Rainforest Wild. PS: interesting that you liked the Africa aviary in Mandai the most. I actually found that the most boring one. Gotta check it out again :D

Singapore's bird paradise is really world-class and it is mind blowing how much effort they put into the infrastructure and maintenance to make it an enjoyable trip for visitors, as well as conserve and educate people on the different species. But how many or how often malaysian themselves visit their own bird park or spend time in natural bird watching in the wild when natural is just in their own backyard? Sg given our scarce land resources cant afford such luxury and hv to plan and use our limit land resources wisely. Even if it about enjoying natural in a man made environment.

KL's Bird Park was opened 32 years ago in 1991, and Mandai Bird's Paradise is a brand new, so it likes comparing apple to orange even both are similar. There are 3,500 birds at Mandai from 400 species, meanwhile KL's Bird Park only has 3,000 birds from 200 species. I have been to both KL's Bird Park and Jurong's Bird Park with my kids but not yet to Mandai Bird's Paradise. KL's Bird Park in some areas really need to be upgraded as it look outdated now after three decades of operations, and the management need to maintain properly the park as the holes on the net need to fixed, some cages are too small for the birds, and more staff members to clean up the places, rubbish, bird poo, long grass etc. The best bird park on my opinion is Birds of Eden, at Plettenberg Bay, South Africa which is the world's largest free-flight walk-in aviary NOT as claimed by Kuala Lumpur Bird's Park, however the world's largest bird park by land is Weltgovelpark Walsrode (Walsrode Bird Park) in Germany.

Excuses upon excuses. Firstly, Mandai Bird Park venue may open recently but it is actually a relocation of former Jurong Bird Park with pumping more investment to make it more attractive. Jurong Bird Park was opened in 80's. Secondly, if KL have lesser birds, put in more investment and buy more birds species. Shake my head.

@@cnachopchopnewsagency we all know Jurong Bird Park was opened earlier, but the comparison in the video is between KL Bird's Park and a newly opened Manda Bird Paradise with totally new facilities and new place. No need to be kiasu even for bird Park. What a typical Singaporean! Lol The best bird park in the world is still the one in Germany which I have visited with my kids and the second one in South Africa.

Sorry, I don't know why you like the feeding in Malaysia more than that in Singapore because the former is just too close for comfort. I thought it was kind of scary to have the birds feeding on your head, and your expressions showed it too. In Singapore, they give you a proper feeding stand and that is just very thoughtful and well planned. Not trying to upset anyone but just some objective food for thought. Perhaps, you are being diplomatic.
