That was such an awesome scene when I saw it in the Theatre back in the 1980s.

I LITERALLY laughed out loud when the crew on the whaling ship saw the bird of prey. 😂

That my friend, is a vessel that is cloaked. That I detected with my FlirOnethermal imager infrared camera. High end camera. In 2018 summer. So that craft is there . The camera detects heat and converts it to an image for us to look at. So,,,in short we have craft in our skys that can fully cloak but the infrared can detect them. That craft is my very first one I saw. And I thought it bared a striking resemblance to the Klingon bird of prey. Go figure cause I love star trek. So I spliced it with the movie to show the similarities and you my friend are the first person to mention it. Good eye. So welcome to your new reality. They are everywhere and all shapes and sizes. It's actually from when I was first trying to figure out how to make and edit videos and had not yet heard of a screen recorder app. So it is simply recorded right off the screen from my phone. And then I overlayed a lot of the in ship conversation over parts of the approach of the crew towards the whaling ship. The original movie segments as they approach is basically suspense music. I think I made it a little more dramatic. Again Back then I was just messing around although we love Star Trek especially when they decloak , stop the harpoon and hover over the ship. I was like Yaaaah !!!!. I had no idea it would at this point have around 43 thousand views. I make all kinds of videos as a hobby and I'm amazed if they get 43 views ha, ha, ha. So many good trek scenes. But that one is really iconic. And we were all so relieved that spock was saved. I still choke up when I watch spock in the warp core say " Shshhip,,,out of danger. And the agony of krk saying yes..... Thanks for the comment. Live long and prosper.🙏

For Instance as I scroll through the feed looking at videos . And 10 seconds into it I'm not interested, I just move on to another video. But I don't leave a comment saying " I'm not interested . Thanks Tom, sorry you missed the point that I recorded a actual ship in the sky with my infrared camera . It was cloaked but not to the i.r. camera. Thanks for the comment.

So you must have some experience using the Flir cameras. Being that you recommend clearing them up. What do you think about cloaked ships in our skys everywhere. Thanks never claimed to be a professional. And I'm not monetized. And I never expected it to get views. Also I was making an attempt to show anyone who looked that we have real ships cloaked in our sky. Everywhere all the time. Infrared picks them up. So there you go now you know.
