▬ ABOUT THIS MATTRESS REVIEW ▬
Birch vs Birch Luxe Review (Which Natural Mattress Is Right For You?). In this video, Owen who is a Certified Sleep Science Coach covers his Birch mattress review. This includes a direct comparison between the Birch Natural vs Birch Luxe beds. These are latex hybrid mattresses that use natural and organic materials. This includes organic cotton, wool, natural latex and individually wrapped coils. Owen talks about the differences between these two beds in terms of construction, feel and firmness. He also talks about how much pressure relief both mattresses provide as well as what types of sleepers (side, back, stomach) these Birch by Helix beds are best for. Thanks for watching this Birch by Helix review. Hopefully it helps you decide whether the Birch Luxe is worth it or whether you should save the money and go with the standard Birch Natural mattress.

Nice beds. They seem different than the others I've been watching. Pretty spendy but look so comfy. I want one of these. Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback
I'm not sure but I'm interested in the natural and organic beds. Thanks and nice video!
I’m laying on the luxe mattress topper right now. I love it. Laying on my side feels good! And I was laying on a 4” thick piece of memory foam before now. I’m happy! Think I might get the regular mattress next.
Going with the regular Birch thanks.
I’m interested in natural and organic beds. I would like the hybrid with latex. I bought my son hybrid organic plush mattress and I love it so much more than my memory foam mattress. It was a hard decision to make. But after watching your mattress review on it. I went for it.
I'm a strictly side sleeper so I don't think would work for me. I do want to say that I love your videos and I'm learning a lot about mattresses and I'm still deciding. Thank you
I would definitely have to try it out but I think I would like a natural made bed.
I wouldn't mind either way but I've been wanting to try a latex foam bed so gotta go organic.
These look great. Stomach sleeper here. I’d be psyched with either.
These would be too firm for me but I'm really enjoying your videos.
Natural sounds great however I am allergic to wool. I also am a mostly a side sleeper. I do like latex foam
Yep, natural and organic sounds great. Latex, wool and cotton, as well as coils. =
I purchased the Burch original mattress about 2 weeks ago for my brother who just turned 70 yesterday, Christmas Eve. He is paranoid schizophrenic and has had night terrors for years. I did have to have a young man take the mattress from my living room to my brothers room because it is very heavy or at least I think it is. I told the man to bring a dolly to move it. When he came to move it, he said this isn't heavy, he's a tall muscular young man, so maybe it wasn't heavy for him, but for most people, especially older folks like me and my brother, it is very heavy. lol Since my brother has been sleeping on this new mattress, he has not woken up with night terrors. He has slept so well and I'm so thankful for it. The company sent 2 new pillows with the mattress and also 2 new pillows came a day later in a box. They are very soft, I mean squishy soft. I prefer a firmer pillow. Anyway I gave the young man the two new pillows that came a day later and he was very happy to get them. I highly recommend this mattress. They have a payment plan that was as low as about 60 a month. I chose to pay it out in 6 months so my payment is quite a bit higher. My brother loves his new mattress and says it is very comfortable.
What are the most affordable king medium soft mattresses? As a strict side sleeper I like the feel of slightly sinking into my mattress!
YES! (Finding one that fits in plushness _and_ support seems terribly elusive tho.)

Super LOVE the honesty of this vid. Cannot understand why this company has such a spread in pricetag but not in feel. Illogical.
I need a firm bed. Are any of these beds okay for a heavier person?
I would prefer a natural or organic mattress over others. I have been looking into different brands but my husband and I cant exactly afford a new mattress at the moment. Hopefully this year will be the year that we get one! Fingers crossed! Been sleeping on the same uncomfortable bed for about 10 years now. Time for a new one! Thanks for the videos and good info! 😊

They’re all Firm, trust me.
I’m a side sleeper and I really want something soft. Thanks for the info, and helping me with making my decision. What’s their return policy?
Im interested to do a little more research on natural organic mattresses! But less chemicals is always better!
I would prefer it but is it probably within my budget or overall needs im not entirely sure tbh
I think these mattresses are both too firm for me since I am a heavy side sleeper. It’s nice that they have a topper as an option, but I can’t see spending $450 on a topper. I’ll probably just go for a bed that suits what I need better. 🛌

Lol $450 isn’t really too much. A Tempur topper where I live costs $1,350😂
if only using less chemicals was just commonplace 😔 id definitely prefer to purchase one but realistically its too expensive
Thanks
Absolutely! But I am mainly a side sleeper and I feel that both of these options would be a bit to firm for me.

Also talalay softer than Dunlop
Yes! I would prefer purchasing a natural and organic mattress. I would prefer the Birch Original with a topper- in Queen!

That’s what I bought
With either bed I'd have to have that comfy topper. So I'd go with the Original Birch.
Can someone give me super fast last minute advice between the Avocado Green Pillowtop King and the Birch Luxe King (no pillow top)? These are the same price of $2900 for me today only, I have to order today, they are both about even on firmness as far as I can tell, the Birch Luxe does not really need a pillowtop as it’s a bit softer. I am a 45 year old male at 275-300 lbs at the moment but I hopefully plan to get that down to 200-225 within a year or so. The Birch also can be had 0% interest for $100 Mo for many many months and Avocado is 0% interest for only 12 months with a bit higher payments of course. I do like the Birch Luxe for the additions it offers and it’s not a money thing for me Vs the normal Birch. I don’t think I will need the pillowtop for the Birch, and I’m not sure I want one sliding around on an adjustable base either.
Hmmm... I'm not sure if I'd purchase a natural and organic bed. Very interesting though!
a smaller carbon footprint is always a good way to go, but I would have to do more research into weather I would buy one for my self.
best bed content for sure
These are a bit out of budget for me, but I'd love to try something more environmentally friendly.
After watching the video I still don’t know if lux version has better lumbar support (which they advertise and is absolutely a must for us) or not. IMO this is the biggest difference in between the two versions.
What is the hight of the mattress?
I have been having a difficult time making a choice on a natural and organic bed. Over researched and overwhelmed. Birch or avacado is a big debate for me. No sure what to purchase.
Don't think I'd consider spending an extra 450 on a topper but would be interested in the durability of these kinds of beds

Would be better than Pillow-tops that plagues the industry.
I have heard. About these. Mattresses for a while now. And I was considering buying one. But I'm not sure if I would like it. So I thought I would enter in the give away. Just to try it out if I won. I do have some bad problems. Since I'm a tad older than I was. Last year. So if Birch mattresses will help I'm all for it.
The sleep quality is far more important to me than whether or not it's organic.
Mattress material really isn't felt after you put sheets on a bed. Or a topper. So unless the material is going to do something about the feel. Not much use for it. And with cooling sheets, it's hard to believe a soft covered mattress will make a difference.
I really think med firm is to hard. Sleep 90% or more on sides. Latex sounds interesting but not thick enough above coils for my interest. Just a bit pricey for the difference.

Same w avocado I checked into Nolah and wink.
I would prefer to purchase a natural and organic bed but while it's a priority, its not a deal breaker for me.
Maybe the Birch original WITH the Topper can be a better choice than the Luxe 😅
A latex bed a little softer
I would prefer a organic mattress over others! I don't even like to eat things that aren't organic, so why shouldn't it be the same for where I sleep?!
Meanwhile sleepolis says its best latex for side sleepers. Ugh.
This brand doesn't seem like its worth it for it for that price given the competition
