    Dada , thank you so much . Yours is one of the best series of talks on the Chakras I have ever heard or read . It is all based on your actual very deep experience and actual knowledge rather than a recitation of known facts . The way you link the functions of the chakras together is seldom attempted by any teachers , even famous ones , so it is very remarkable for its depth of "knowingness" All serious students of chakras should listen to your lectures and I pray that your absolute generosity and loving kindness to share with the world , will continue with many more videos to come , so that with knowlege the world will be a better place . Many so called authors and teachers have made the study of Chakras a pseudoscience due to lack of actual knowlege , but you are an exceptional exception that I can salute , what more from Mother Russia! My very humble salutations and respects to you Dada , and by the way which tradition do you come from , as it seems very much like the one I have been a member and supporter of , many years ago. With Deepest Appreciation , Johnny Cheah .

    Thank you for these beautiful cakra classes! I guess, however I'd be considered a "conspiracy theorist" I am from the USA and do not trust the media, the government, the education system, the food were fed (gmo's, pesticides, growth hormones, preservatives etc) Any society that is run under the motto "We want a nation of doers NOT thinkers" Is a society I have difficulty trusting. And the newset thing here is the onslaught of athiests. The media constantly mocking religion and the pseudo intellectuals reigning with their materialism and athiest views. Also, when i was young and in school there was no real focus on the arts... music, art classes were not taken seriously. there were weeks at a time that we would not even have such classes. Elementary school was designed to prepare you for high school, high school was to prepare you for University and College was to prepare you for WORK. Do not focus on art, do not ask questions... learn and work. that is how the United States is run! No conspiracy, it just sadly is that way! Yoga is a "work out" Where I live I do not know ONE other Hindu like me. At the Temple everyone is Indian or from Nepal. I have yet to meet, in person, another Western Hindu like myself. My co-workers do Hatha Yoga, and have not any connection to the wealth, and endless depth of the Spiritual aspect. No one knows what the Sanatana Dharma is! No one knows the Vecic teachings! A friend at work said, "oh I have heard of Bhagavad Gita. Its Buddhism right?" :( it is very sad. I do not trust this place. I yearn to be in India one day!

    Namaskar, since I'm not so familiar with chemistry, I cannot give a scientific reply to this question. But I do know that Yogis have been following a sattvika (sentient vegetarian) diet for thousands of years. And scientific research has proved the disturbing effects of garlic on the human brain. Just the smell of garlic cooking, is enough to disturb my meditation. It needs to be experienced to appreciate. So my suggestion is that you try this diet for a month and notice the effects on your meditation. Thanks

    i have a question regarding the diet. I'd like to follow the Sattvic diet but just two items right there conflict with western nutritional advice. ie onions and garlic which in western science are blood purifiers, prebiotic and good for digestion and health. In the other video about diet for higher consciousness, it says to avoid mushrooms of all things, which are a good source of vit D and many minerals. Also... drinking the water to purify... does this apply to municipal supply or should we only drink spring/purified water?

  • @MeditationSteps

    @MeditationSteps

    We follow primarily the nutrition for the mind and secondarily the nutrition for the body. Onion and garlic may at times be ok or even useful for the body in certain cases, but certainly harmful for the mind. It is easy to verify. Try to follow strict sattvic diet for a month, and meditate. Then eat a little of garlic or onion and observe the changes in your state of mind and your mental faculties. It will be quite clear.
