Very super duper sholay movie

❤ I must have watched Sholay 150 times. The Greatest ever "Sholey", or "The Flames ", Now, your mind- blowing research on this Immortal Masterpieces, will make me to watch it another 150 times . Although, I have traveled very extensively, all over the Karnataka, but I never bumped on Ramnagra iconic village, Soon , I will do so. Although, the Hindi Cinema stopped producing real films, but the Flames of Sholay ,will keep burning into eternity. Tarun Vayyas Sahab, I am absolutely short of words, in praise of your work on this Immortal film. More comments, coming sonn..........❤

How this story of Sholay did not draw crowd on initial days are spread. I used to stay near Minerva when the film released. Tickets were sold out on the first day of opening advance booking. The Rs 4.50, Rs 5.50 tickets were being sold at Rs 40/50 on friday first day. I could not get ticket in advance, went to Matunga/Mahim to Badal/Bijlee/ Barkha. Pai Rs 15 for the Rs 3.30 ticket in black and watched at Badal theatre. I wonder how/why the story of Sholay not getting grand opening is spread !!!!!

जब शोले फील्म रीलीज हूई । तो हमने नही देखी लेकीन उस वक्त । बडे बडे रेकाॅड हूवा करते थे । उस वक्त लोग रेकाॅड पर शोले फील्म को बडी आवाज मे सीर्फ सूनते थे । और मै भी ए डायलाॅग सूनती थी ।अब पूरानी फील्मे आज कल के बच्चे नही देखते ।हम लोग उस समय रेकाॅड सूनकर ही खूश हूवा करते थे । फील्म देखना तो दूर की बात

अंजना जी आपने बिलकुल सही कहा उस वक़्त फ़िल्में डॉयलॉग्स सुन कर भी पसंद की जाती थी वो जादू था फ़िल्म के प्रति लोगो की दीवानगी का , वो तिलिस्म जो फ़िल्म की कहानी किरदारों की आवाज़ और संगीत बैकग्राउंड स्कोर से मिलकर बनता था अब ना हो दर्शक है ना वैसी फ़िल्में अब फ़िल्म एक कारोबार मात्र रह गया समाज का आईना नहीं रहा

हर sundey दुपहर 2.30बजे विविध भारती पर sholey का ऍड प्रोग्राम आधा घंटा रहता था तब अमीन सायानी सिर्फ नाम लेता था धर्मेंद्र हेमा इतके साथ gp सिप्पी रमेश सिप्पी rd बर्मन द्वारका दिवेचा इतना बोलता था उनका दमदार आवाज था वो आवाज सून कर हम रेडिओ की तरफ भागते थे आधा घंटा रेडिओ के पास बैठते थे मै 15साल का था 70 बार और minrva मे 2 बार sholey देखा

Yes u r right it was 3rd June 1973 when they got married and before marriage Zanjeer released on 11 may 1973 . When they were shoot for Sholay Jaya was pregnant.

Amitabh Bachchan & Amjad Khan life were cut short/ sick , after film accident or car accident But, in movies and cartoons, the characters never die. In Saathee film, Rajendra Kumar ,passenger in train falls from bridge, and he only gets small scratch in forhead. Hindi Cinema was greatly entertaining, but was as fictional, as all fictions . Art for the sake of Art, is useless. Art ,should be a servant for society progress. But, Amitabh does in Sholay film too (Exception to the rules of Hindi Cinema)
