From 1960 to 2000 nearly 214 fishermen shot by srilanka navy patrol for crossing border for fishing. After 2000 LTTE taking charge, they saved lot of Indian fisher mens.

What's happening now...some crazy monks saying it's a Sinhala Buddhist Country, they also say they are above the law, trying to do land grabs..disrespecting Hindu traditions..burning dead bodies beside Hindu temples, bringing shame to Buddhism.

unfortunately the same language problem exists in our country also. North indian people can write competetive exams in their mother tongue, hindi, but non-hindi people cannot. In most of the central govt jobs, if an indian does not know hindi, he will not get job. minimum typing speed to pass typing test is 40 wpm in english, but for hindi, it is 35 wpm. This is also partiality. some north indian people says hindi is our national language. they dont know there are 23 official languages in our country and there is no national language

Please do some research on it first. He was a Christian, and he relied on instructions by CIA & MI-5, and that's the reason RAW and Rajiv Gandhi got against him. This guy eliminated all Hindu Tamil Eelam leaders and only christians survived, established smuggling routes to western world , had a key role in building scores of churches in northern Sri Lanka, he called himself atheist just to pretend and fool hindu tamil, promoted the missionary conversion of tamil hindus whenever he got an opportunity. He had major support from western world.
