⁠@@leny_mimixd8489its a theory which suggests that the leech twins chose eachother and survived. (since in real life: morays lay a lot of eggs, i believe upto 10K). Now there are 2 sub-theories out of the main theory: #1 suggests that they were attacked by another wild predator but stuck with eachother and somehow schemed/managed to survive or #2 (creepier one) where JADE hatched out a bit earlier, and ATE the remaining eggs and chose to spare Floyd (there is a dialogue in Azul’s dorm SSR which suggests that they chose eachother and Jade’s canonical least favourite food is conger eel; due to his disdain for its texture)
