I agree. If you want to make it like the show, you need all the ingredients of a soft taco (seasoned beef, cheese, shredded lettuce, maybe some tomato--in a tortilla), then add nacho cheese sauce & chips. My family has made this more than once. It's delicious.

I find it hilarious that Ron's naco became a legit menu item within kim possible and when in one episode when they ran out or no longer sold naco's ron was upset when in truth he could've just ordered a taco and nachos and combine like he did the first time.

Nacho meets taco =/= Nacho meets naked flour tortilla. Love you daddy Babi, but I feel this needs a re-do.

I feel like, having drawn in a lot of viewers with the crazy TV foods, Babby is slowly transitioning to a more normal cooking channel, and he really just wanted to show us how to make good nachos. I was let down by this one too because it's not often we see him go for something with the potential to be a real hot mess these days. I really miss the old format where he'd make two dishes: one pretty much exactly to spec, no matter how gross it was likely to turn out, and then one that was supposed to be a better or more tolerable version.

Even before he said it himself, I questioned the lack of ground beef. It looked like the cartoon version had it.

Bruh I definitely learned the glove trick the hard way. I was getting into making homemade pico de gallo, trying out all sorts of different recipes. Well my birthday comes around so I take my favorite recipe and triple it for my friends.....my hand was burning for a solid 12 hours to no relief. I chopped half a dozen jalapeno's by hand and despite washing my hands a bunch of times, still felt like I had 1st degree burns on my hands all night.

Binging with Babish is the only youtuber out of the thousands i watch, that when i am watching i notice my side of recommended is all binging with babish only, no matter which of his videos it is... hes really killin the game lol

Aw, man it really needed the taco meat. In the show, he doesn't just put nachos in a tortilla. Before the Bueno Nacho starts serving the Naco, he gets it by ordering both a taco, and nachos, and combining everything.

Actually anything, and tacos don't need a "shell", just a tortilla. A taco is anything that goes inside a tortilla, that you can roll and then eat.

I wasn't worried about the lack of beef, I just like that you mention the "shame" of taking a few bites.. as you walk off with it lol. Your show is excellent.

oh and i bet they taste better than the ones from the store, too. Store bought tomatoes are harvested unripe (then forced to ripen) and stored cold (destroys what little flavor is left) so they aren’t very tasty. I’m growing a cherry tomato plant in my apartment and it’s wonderful.

Gonna need a redo cuz that was a sub par Naco, but the nachos did look tasty.

A ´soft taco shell´ is called a Tortilla compa

This looks nothing like the ones on the show and doesn't even really seem to imitate it at all. This needs to be redone with Beef

Quick guac tip! If you put the pits if the avocado into the guacamole it stats green and fresh longer.

Meh did great on the "nacho" part but I felt there was no effort on the "taco" part. I would have liked to see some beef, maybe even beans, perhaps some lettuce idk. A larger tortilla could be used to fit all this. I also feel you should have represented the original "style" of the naco before altering it (oversized, dripping with grease, cheap yellow queso...) I enjoyed that format much better, this just comes across as lazy and half- assed in comparison. (I can still tell alot of work was made to make this)

Next time let's see you try something from any Ghibli movie. Or if you want the challenge of a lifetime, try anything from CHOWDER!!

In Mexican Spanish, "naco" is a word that describes things with a bad taste, in music, clothes, etc (I've heard a couple of possible translations, but I don't want to be offensive due to lack of precision). So, as a Mexican who hasn't seen KimPossible, it was a confusing title

The writers of Kim Possible may have known that "naco" meant "bad taste." The character that makes nacos, Ron, is supposed to not be very cool. A lot (but not all) of the show is Kim, who is very cool, making fun of Ron for doing something dumb.

The word itself has different meanings according to the context. It is supposed to be used with people that have a sort of tacky and kitch sort of style. But since Mexico is classist AF it's also to describe all the poor but if you have money and you are brown chances are that you are going to be called Naco as well even by other brown people. LOL

Oh yeah, that's what I want. Shrapnel in my nice soft burrito.. Ron is a monster.

My take on the Naco is, of-course a burrito sized tortilla, a nice thin spread of sour cream (if i was to lazy to mix the sour cream directly into the taco seasoning), a layer of hand crushed tortilla chips, a layer of meat, layer of my home made cheese dip, little more tortilla chips, layer of meat, one more layer of cheese dip, and burrito roll that shit. Edit: Usually with the meat, i use the liquid from the precanned diced green chilies& tomatoes (usually i use rotel hot), and sour cream over low heat (as to not curdle the sour cream) to mix in the taco seasoning. Take a bit of time to get it to thicken up but it is totally worth it in the long run.

Ron Stoppable and Rufus would not approve of this

It's always funny how your reminiscing about how you always forget the garlic in the guacamole if for some reason you have to mention it every time you make guacamole

You didn't make a naco, you made nachos and put in a tortilla. A naco is nachos IN A TACO!

Ok first, I'm a huge fan of everything you do. Pretty sure I've thumbs up'ed every video you've made. But honestly, I'm a little disappointed because in the cartoon you can clearly see the nachos are the dark color of beef and you used none. Chili would have been acceptable, chicken too, hell even ground turkey! But no meat? That's not nachos, that's reverse cheese dip.

If you're making nachos the first thing you think about is if you want beef or shredded chicken. That's how nachos work my man. Again, i love this channel and everything Babish does. There's no hate coming from me, just an honest critique

I hate to be THAT GUY but you didn't make the Naco correctly. Sure, you went above and beyond on the nacho potion, but you completely forgot the TACO portion of the Naco. All you did was make nachos in a flour tortilla (which was accurate). Perhaps adding beef to the nachos would have helped, but it would have still been nachos on a tortilla. Again, sorry to be THAT GUY.

If you look at the clip you can see Ron dumping all of his nachos into a soft tortilla. The tortilla didn't have anything on it yet. The only thing Babish forgot to do (which he clearly stated in the video) was add ground beef to the nachos. 💜

I may still feel that the NACO was incomplete, but will stand corrected as far as it was presented in the show :D Ya know, thinking about it, if they were nachos supreme, with lettuce, tomatoes and meat, that would solve all the problems.

I do think there should be a sequel that brings in more taco fillings. It'd probably need a much larger soft taco and breaking up the pieces smaller to fit all that blasphemy into one wrap but it's not a naco unless it makes you feel disgusting for eating it, the part that he _absolutely nailed._

Naco is not simply nachos wrapped in a tortilla. It’s an actual complete taco with actual complete nachos added.

Really disapointed... No beans, no beef common man! Also you forgot the important part and that is you create the burrito first then you open it up to add the nachos!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS NO Bueno!!!! Where is the taco part of the dish? All you did was wrap nachos like a taco. You even played how it was made at the beginning. Ron Stoppable would not approve at all. Edit: Holy Kimmunictor, this comment is getting a lot more reactions than i thought.

@@Leubast yeah that is because he cut the clip a bit short. Ron mixed taco meat with nachos, then dump it onto the tortilla. You can clearly see the taco meat in the naco.

@@anthonycolby8424 he did but he still forgot the second most important component of the naco, the taco part. That is like making bacon and eggs but he forgot the bacon. It is not a small nitpick. He basically edited the video, saw he forgot about it but still uploaded a half complete video. He should have own up, made it properly, and uploaded it. If it is delayed, then let it be delayed. We would have understood and appreciated the extra effort he put in. This is not a tv station with strict schedules.

@Azra Rillian when did i mention hard shell taco? I thought i made myself clear. Sorry. He tried to make naco. It only had two components: nachos and the taco. He clearly made nachos wrap in tortilla, completely forgetting the taco part. He saw that he forgot but uploaded it anyway. That is what I am mad about. It would be like you ordering bacon and eggs from a diner. They cooked the eggs but forgot the bacon. They sent it to you anyway. Wouldnt you be mad?
