I have wanted to make myself a travel sewing book for a while now and I finally got around to it.
I did not have a pattern but I had inspiration from Pinterest and KZread so I just made it up as I went along and made my own size.
This book is going to be perfect for when I am sewing binding on my quilts, cross stitching or any kind of hand sewing.
I hope you found this helpful and it inspires you to create your own version or make it the same as mine.
Book outside
I used 3 pieces cut at 4.5x8.5
and 2 pieces cut at 2.5x8.5
After quilting I squared it up to 16x8
For the inside I cut a piece at 16x8
For the zipper pouch use a zipper at least 10 inches
Cut 4 pieces at 3x8
For the felt needle holder I cut a piece at 3x1 3/4 inches
For scissor pouch it will depend on the size of your scissors
For the side pocket I cut 1 piece at 5x3.5 inches and 1 piece at 5x5 inches
For my closure tab I cut 1 piece at 1.5x8 inches
