i love how he installed external item descriptions but only looked at it like 3 times and then kept asking "what happened" as if he didn't have a tool that told him exactly what would happen

"Food Mode" is actually in Left 4 Dead. If you're playing with others, you can hit "take a break" in the pause menu and a bot takes over until you step back in. Also, I love when Jerma goes "everybody calm down calm down" and he's the only one that's not calm

@@we-must-live I can personally confirm that you're surprisingly wrong, I've gone back to CoD after not touching any of those games for years, and gotten to about 80% of my OG k/d efficiency within a couple hours of play. It's like riding a bike or any at-work skill, once we re-familiarize ourselves with the task our brain plugs back into those old synapses and we start milking that sweet, sweet dopamine (maybe serotonin in this case?) out of performing that familiar activity. Edit: It works on non-reflexy games too, I guarantee that within a couple hours I could get back to kicking ass at KoTor 2, and I haven't played that game in over 10 years. I only played OG XCOM for a couple dozen hours total, and I still have that clunky UI burned into my memory.

Jerma’s Corn Nuts tangent was insanely accurate. As a video editor, crunchy snacks are just basically uneatable when I’m working on a project.

Only missing part of jerma's "food mode" idea was a microphone that listens for the sound of chewing, and if it doesn't hear chewing for a certain amount of time without Foodmode being disabled, the playercharacter will just kill themself by sprinting off a cliff or pulling out their sword and stabbing themself.

I doubt Jerma will read this, but there is a Grotto Beast card in the Fiend Folio mod. Be warned though, as Fiend Folio will make the game even harder than it already is.

In Yakuza the eating cutscene thing could be glorious like kiryu and Majima eating at along table along with others in a seemingly looping animation... idk i never played Yakuza

My GTA/BOI game is definitely Age of Empires 2... I have purchased that originally when it came out with the expansions and strategy manuals, on Steam when it came out, from a thrift store when I found a copy for five bucks, from Microsoft for a penny when they first started their store like 15 years ago, again on Steam for the Definitive Edition, again on Steam for the whatever the newest version of Definitive is to them, as well as buying at least 10 copies for other people to force them to play with me over the years, haha.

Food mode is literally in L4D2.

depends on the game - if it's action adventure Nathan Drake or fukcn hard PROTOTYPE, i'll pause the game... but WoW, Warframe? all these huge ass maps that don't put proper attention into traversal or cool things to find along the way? yeah, it'd be cool if i could go drink a coffee, have some biscuits and would ya look at that, I didn't have to spam dodge roll and airspin four thousand times to get to my destination!

I feel like we could actually see Jerma's "food mode" bit in a video game in the future with some sort of AI, and im all for it. Like maybe there will be AI smart enough to play an entire game through. So you could turn on an "AI mode", and let an AI that has been learning the entire time your playing. maybe with built in autosaves before it makes decisions and an override button popup that is always in view for the player to see.
