I recently found you. Your great reviews have made me decide what and what not to buy. But I must say that I have never seen anyones hand be so expressive at what you're saying. That left hand is the king of expression. Well done. Thank You !

I have never been a fan of “tucked bass” in the past. Truthears Crin Blue and HBBs Kahn turned me off. I have never tried anything like Chopin in that quality or above. I might have to try it when Amazon gets stocked with them. Thanks TonyTex.

Same here. Sure the tuck sounded ‘clean’, but it sounded unnatural to me

Awesome comparison Tony!!! It's very helpful, we can conclude that the Chopin is a great value on it's own, no doubt, probably the very best at 200usd in terms of price to performance.

Hey Akros, what’s your opinion on top vs studio 4?

Can't wait to recieve Tommy's Chopin. Hope it's a slight upgrade to the SM6L. But I'm also goimg to grab the Xenns Top on 11/11 if they go on sale. Hunting my end game. Thank Tony.

I got to listen to the Hype 2 and wasn't blown away. They sound good, but the bass on the Mangrid Top was punchier and clean. IMO @@CesarGonzalez-mx7su

How did Chopin vs Em6l go for you?

The technicalities on the Chopin are more detailed but, I prefer the tuning of the EM6L. I listen to the Phoenix more than the Chopin. But not as much as the Pula PA02.

Im curious does the nx7 affect the sound signature or does the amp just give you extra power and the warm sound comes from cayin ru6 dac ?

Hi, very detailed review. How does chopin compare to kz pr1 pro? I want to know if it's worth upgrading

is chopin an upgrade to olina se on all aspects that justifies 2x the price ?

Great review as usual. Have you got any experience with the 7th acoustic supernova? How do you think that compares with the Top?

I reviewed the Supernova some months back It's an amazing iem, all about being audiophile correct . MANGIRD is a way more fun set...not as correct , but definitely more engaiging. It's all about the balance.....Fun/Correct

Νice review.I wonder if Dark Saber is the new upgraded Variations..I also wonder why Moondrop didn t fixed untill now this lack of mid bass in Variations that everybody talks about ..it would sell thousands

Well let's go by parts.....first Saber is not the substitute or upgrade to the Variations.....one is a Tribrid the other a Hybrid. At the most the Saber is a glorified Blessing 3 as it shares same design only twice the BA. As for the the Midbass issue of the Variation, lets be honest.....the majority of people won't even notice....the lack of midbass is relative and based mainly on comparing with sets that are Midbass prominent. So I would say it's more a tuning that makes Midbass thin as opposed to it not being present. Besides all you need to do is boost 2 to 3db in the interval between 125 and 200hz and I'm sure it's all solved!

@@akros9333 You are right..I always EQ my iems but I think that most people would like buying an item that graphs ok from the start.Lets be honest when someone hears a review that says that the iem lacks a little bit of this or that I don t think the first thing that comes to his mind is to use an equalizer, thats why I said that.. Keep the good work Akros !

I think it's a bit too expensive when taking into account its driver configuration and specially when considering accessories that, at this price, should be of much better quality (and diversity)

@@akros9333 oh Waiting. I have unfairly come down to Kiwi Ears Melody (planar) vs Kiwi Quintet. I guess I shall most likely go with Melody as I haven't heard a Planar yet. Let's see what you cook up with Quintet! And Aful P8, didn't come in this review above (of Chopin vs Mangird, moondrop etc) ?

For an audio review channel you got terrible mic. God forbid if i use a treble heavy gear, the sibilance is grating..

akros how i read graph of iem ferquency ?? im new into too iem world and what you use for testing iem dac amp i saw you have 2 devices the cayin and other big like power bank ??
