I like how we were like "Binance is too big to fall." About a year ago and now this happens. I feel like whenever something's too big to fail, it means "The first major scandal/crime they're involved in won't affect them that much."

Literally the only reason I know what Binance is is because Charlie guessed they’d be “too big to fail” in one of his videos on SBF. So when I’d heard about this recent fuckup from Binance, I was curious to hear what he’d have to say about it.

People don’t understand how much shit Binance is in. The companies assets may be worth up to 60 billion, but the majority of those assets do not belong to them (customer funds). Binance has also refused to perform an audit and does not shares the company’s financial statements publicly. There is no way to know what Binance’s liabilities are and a “run on the bank” would only make things worse for the company;which may already be illiquid. Also important to not that in order to pay these fines, Binance will have to begin selling off the holdings in many crypto assets which could drag down the entire crypto market.

yeah but the deal they made with the us government REQUIRES a full audit, and they've taken the deal too so they are complying. 4.2 billion is nothing and nothing is collapsing. Binance is basically becoming a government entity with these charges in place and charlie has no idea because he's an idiot who only looks at the surface level, same reason he kept glazing coffeezilla cuz he needs someone to actually do research for him.. moist charlie fanboys are dumb asf i swear lol.

Crypto is not the future of currency

The way I see it is once they get most the bad influences out of crypto it will be able to make improvements and be seen as more reliable. Still, don't put too much into it since it is not worth the volatility (No more than 5-10% of total portfolio).
