The Philippines is really has this beautiful Mountains and one of them is the "Mighty Mount Halcon". It is considered as the most difficult mountain to climb here in this country. Most mountaineers aim to target this one to be cosidered as what they called "Harkor", or means you are already a Pro in hiking in the mountains in the Philippines.
This video introduce the experience that we have encountered upon hiking Halcon. Although we failed reaching the summit, the adventure is really a memorable one. Imagine to be stranded in a place for 32 hours with a non stop rain, and you need to do is to stay in your tent not knowing what is happening really outside.
This Mountain in Baco Oriental Mindoro is really an achievement for all the mountaineers who already reach the summit. Since we failed on the first try, there is always a second time around.
