Hi brother, can you help me with this, because I've also a career gap of 8 years. I completed my BA in 2016 with 50% and I joined a paramilitary force in 2017. Now I want to switch my career to IT field. I'm learning programming from the internet and also doing a Python programming course by Google at Coursera along with that I'm pursuing my online BCA degree from Uttaranchal University. Very happy about you. But nowdays it is very difficult for non-IT background people to get into IT. Companies in job description mention that they want candidates from Bsc/Btech/CS or similar field. 1000+ applicants r applying ,expecially for frontEnd. Aur freshers ko toh koi bhaav he nai de rha hai..

@@vp351 yeah its true, but I would say "preparation krrte raho, kahi naa kahi naa toh mil hi jaegi job, bss giveup mtt krrna". keep learning and applying. I know sometimes It's really disappointing but jo humare haath meh "preparation" hum vahi krr skte hei baaki sbb bhul jao select hoge ki nhi bss immandari se mehnat karo. trust mil jaegi job, fresher ho phir bhi. Meh bhi fresher hi tha and career gap bhi tha but somehow I got my first job. Aapko bhi mil jaegi

@@tanaypratap Hi sir My name is Yogesh and basically I graduated in 2021 but in college itself I found upsc syllabus quite interesting so I delve myself into preparing without no job but after failing for 3 times I realized it's pretty hard and unpredictable exam which cannot be cleared just by hardwork but require good amount of luck. So from July I started to learning html css and now learning js and yes upskilling myself to get job and a career in this field.

One thing to say is. Upsc failed by almost 4.99 Serious aspirant evry year and This exam taught us to work hard daily with consistency and dream big. And there is a huge gap in this arena where no one talk what to do after failure
