Very Beautiful the presentation of the Coral Boys is undoubtedly a good example I liked I did not know a friend posted on his social network and I was aware of this coral congratulations to all the boys boys and the organizers. Certainly these young people have been very successful even more !!

Funny how this supposedly Austrian song that never was Austrian finally arrived there. No, it is not a traditional song in German speaking countries, most people have never heard it, unless they happen to like Sound of Music, which isn't very popular here. The boys choir probably performed this for their American fans.

As a Korean, when you hear the phrase 'Bless My Homeland Forever', our people have been invaded by continents countless times over the past years, and in the end, they were colonized by a small island nation, Japan, for up to 35 years, but eventually regained the country and rose to the top 10. Just thinking about it makes me cry

Take it easy. In human history, what country had not been "invaded" and "colonized" by another country ? The von Trapp family left Austria to settle down in the USA, and had never returned to their "homeland", even after WWII. So, in the song, "homeland" refers to what country? Hence, unlike the patriotic song "On the Beautiful Blue Danube Waltz", this song has no political meaning at all.

jean george pierre Na ja, klassische Musik steht doch weiterhin im Vordergrund. Ich stelle allerdings fest, dass den Konzertchören der WSK immer mehr Ausländer angehören. Das dürfte am weiterhin bestehenden Internatsbetrieb liegen. Immer mehr österreichische Eltern wollen ihre Kinder selbst erziehen.

Well.. maybe people who know the background of this song and the fact that it seems Austrian, but is everything but. Many Americans believe that this is a traditional song in Europe, when in reality it is not. I find it surprising that the choir would even sing this.

Jammer dat ik echt een gruwelijke hekel aan die kale piano speler heb, en dat is logisch ook, spelen ja hij kan wat op een piano/vleugel spelen maar of je het goed of knap mag vinden nee. Ik persoonlijk vind dat hij weg moet want het komt het koor niet ten goede. luister eens naar de pianist b,v, Japan 1983 - 1987 - 1994 Dat waren heel wat betere PIANISTEN en die koren waren ook een stuk mooier om naar te luisteren. Hun muziek ontwikkeling was vele male beter. En de laatste jaren gaat het niet al te best met het koor en dat is alleen te wijten aan die KALE piano bespeler (ik noem hem dus geen pianist heel bewust) In het koor blijf ik geloven daar komt zolang ik leef geen verandering in. Trouwens die gozer die solo song "Edelweiss" heeft zich 100% gegeven en daarom klonk het mooi totdat die piano speler begon te ratelen op dat ping ping gedoe ( tijdslijn: 1.00 / en 2.02 ) toen ging het bijna goed mis Je kunt geen koor begeleide door en zwaaien spelen zwaaien enz enz. Het koor kan heel goed zingen zonder al dat gezwaai en gezwier van die pianospeler. Daarbij probeerde die speller op dat ding met snaren een CARNAVALS hit te maken maar dat is gelukkig niet gebeurd. Maar gelukkig wist hij en het koor het goed te camoufleren dat zijn de vak luitjes en niet de piano bespeler ofwel "DE KALEN UIT HET WEENSE JAPAN" Jappies hebben altijd al gemeend te denken dat ze veel beter zijn dan niet Japies (Hier wordt over nagedacht wedden)?

Lord help us . It's not the boys fault ,rather the people who made them sing it . B
