Dude is totally transforming in the best way as a singer and musician. And what a killer Band!
I'm getting that Johnny Hartford vibe off this. Billy is one helluva a song writer.

Same thing I was thinking. There's some Gentle On My Mind influence in there. Billy sucks you in with his playing, but in the end his songwriting may be his legacy. He just get's better and better.

He's a great guitar player.....he needs a few more years on his vocals. His voice is not completely developed. A good example is Molly Tuttle. Listen to her older stuff.....her voice has matured.

I wish everyone would quit comparing him to other guitarists. It is okay for him to say these people influence him, but gosh he has his own style, and it is magnificent!♥️ It ls like a mother comparing her children to each other. Causes a lot of strife and sorrow. So take this ole woman who survived all the greatest music of all time from Frank Sinatra past Elvis past the Beatles, The Allmans, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, the Eagles, Pinky Floyd, Johnny Cash, BB King, Stevie Ray, Eric, George Jones and all the other greats. Billy has his way collected thru time and it moves me. And You. So why compare, critique and voice your opinion in adversity. He does a wonderful job at what HE does. Life can be so tedious. So sit back enjoy his voice, his guitaring., the way his songs take you somewhere you have been or currently in and be glad you were alive to hear it. Now, please do not reply to my plea to be kind to an extra special man who takes you to a happy place. As Thumpers dad said, "I you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all."
