Not to diminish Billy Strings but Jake Workman, Trey Hensley, Bryan Sutton are but three players with more versatility and skill than Strings.

I've never given Bluegrass much of chance to listen but Billy Strings is hard to ignore with his playing. Quickly gained to one of my top 5 guitarists in the past 3 years. Up against Hendrix, Vaughan, Page, Roy Buchanan, and Guthrie Govan.

I love these guys. Pure, genuine, and super-talented musicians. While I cannot confirm this, I am told that the bass player (Royal Masat) is from (or lived in) Alba, TX. I lived in Mineola, TX for a number of years which is just a short hop from Alba. East Texas has a great musical history. Plus, the fishing is pretty good too. Great job y'all! Keep it coming.

His Pappy, after playing and singing, asked his boy.... Well Billy Strings, what you gonna do with your life ? Young Billy looked up at his Pappy and replied, "I am gonna grow to be a mean ol' singing, guitar picking man." Billy put so much heart into his learning thru the years, He earned the greatest gift of all.... a humble spirit to carry him across those many burdens of well.... Being a dun full grown, mean ol' , guitar picking man!!

I used to listen to Doc Watson more than Billy Strings, and before that it was Keller Williams. A compalation would be epic, I'd hold such gathering on my 48.5 acres in North Carolina. HMU.😊 i never mentioned 33 is my lucky number.
