He’s my favorite actor on Pose. He speaks with his heart, and he’s giving a lot of people that are hiding from themselves and they’re not living in their truth some great advice. My heart goes out to Billy, and anyone else who may be living with HIV or any other autoimmune disease.

His message is one of unconditional love, bravery and respect...

I'm a gay man from Dublin Ireland, didn't know who Billy porter was until I watched pose. I love love love this show it makes me laugh and cry all within 2 minutes of each other, they can't end this after 3 seasons this show needs to go forever.

This is an honest man living in his honesty. He is such a thespian, a gentleman with a kind soul

"Let's have the real conversation as to why when I put on my Oscar dress for Sesame Street, people think I'm coming to get your children. Let's have that conversation for real. Why is that the connection that you make?! Why is that the connection? Because it's not the truth and it's not right and you know it." Go off, Billy.

This man is my hero!! His bravery and his strength are just amazing! I’m so happy for him that he’s able to speak his truth. I can literally feel the freedom he is feeling. God bless him!! ❤️

Hallelujah, thank you for sharing your journey and telling not just your truth but the truth! I was just talking to my 84 year old father the other day about how the church & especially the black church has to do better for our LBTGQ brothers and sisters. He actually agreed with me. It totally shocked me and gave me some hope. Continue being the vessel.

He said "forgiveness is for me," meaning that he forgives the church people who hurt him in order to free himself from any residual resentment he may still be holing from how they abused him.
