Funny thing about this video is to this day billy says that’s he never watched the king of kong. Another thing is he says “he didn’t even beat my score he beat Tim’s score”....well if he beat Tim’s score that was higher than Billy’s than he beat Billy’s score at the same time.

Yes but that changes the whole narrative that Billy was protecting a record score when he didn't even have it. The makers of the film still lied to the audience!

@@tbewin1z143 That's right! Steve never beat Billy's 1982 WR because it was NOT the WR at the time. Tim's score was and remained as such for 3 years. TG and the film makers colluded to cover up and disenfranchise Tim from his place in the chronology of events and re-wrote the history to favor a select few both in terms of PR and financial gain. Weibe was in on it from the start. Steve willing accepted historical credit for Tim's accomplishment and got paid for it as well. Steve is as much of a cheat/douche bag than Mitchell.

You're thinking of fiction fantasy MORON, I'm thinking in terms of what a documentary is legally defined as. I don't think Billy Mitchell looks like a movie villain but he is a real life asshole who uses and abuses people for his own selfish gain. Quite frankly I'm shocked nobody has ever gone after him before.......................and I'm not talking with lawyers either!

I know what Billy Mitchell did, but just saw the documentary. Obviously take him with a grain of salt, but wasn't the kill screen over a million points? Or was he arguing that scene was fake or something?

Billy Mitchell hacked the Webies machine with a mod chip!

I put some of his records in my editing software and it found inconsistencies in the editing like they were jump cuts, and the screen ratio for video on that format doesn't match the arcade it matches a emulator.

Imagine walking around for 40 years and knowing in your heart that you are a Rockstar and looked upon admirably. When in reality you're just a guy with a mullet that's good at video games n slangs wang sauce.

He could beat me at pac-man easily, I could play the game of my life on Pac-Man and doubt I would even be competitive. But I didn't make my name as "the best" then get caught cheating, I didn't make quotes about how it would be awful to take credit for a record I didn't earn when not earning a record. You going to take stances like that and then get caught cheating, you bring it all on yourself. He didn't make his name for being good, he made his name being "the best" and as time changed and he wasn't anymore he cheated to try to hold onto that glory. Glory that frankly is not worth living a lie over. Saying "could you do better?" is irrelevant, I am not in Guinness for saying I could. I do think the hate is a little strong on him, but when you run around being cocky and making "I am so great" remarks while passive aggressively trying to take down others who tried, then get outed as chating to keep it this is what happens.
