Another Dope Scooter and Video, went to a Poker Run yesterday and at the local HD dealer a younger guy was talking about bike builders and some risers he wanted from a certain new MC fab company. I said Billy Lane gave someone a sick set of Indian Larry risers you should check these OG builders and see the dudes that paved the way. Keep your Stream Strong Brother.

I love motorcycles that look and feel like bicycles with a motor. Light and nimble and more part of the road. You feel everything. Yeah the motor is big sitting in that pencil thin frame with flex galore, but what a sound and what a joyful experience!

I've always tried to minimize the bulk of the motorcycle to emphasize the big V-Twin engine. That is the essence of a chopper
You are an inspiration. You have been a big part of the custom motorcycle world for decades. You have a quiet humility about you that is so refreshing in a world of showboats, fakes and clowns.

That's what I was on a 2003 100 years I cried for my bike more than I did my leg sounds crazy
Hiya from UK, might be worth bunging a 90° tyre valve adapter in yer tool roll inside a small polythene bag if you haven't done so already ( I've sheared tyre valves clean off fucking around with gas station tyre pumps that don't fit ) and I've only just discovered the real wonders of red rubber grease to restore and reduce perishing whether old or new straight out the bag I'll smear some rubber grease on the rubber part/ o rings etc etc and wipe off the excess. I also keep a selection of spare nuts and washers on a key ring/chain attached to the bike. I'd put a dog clip/ wire on that ign key too...nothing like getting to your destination only to find your ign key fell out the barrell 200 miles ago. Just love the simplicity, format , content and quality advice in your vids, very real life advice even though i can't seem to find that stash of knuclehead chops in my garage ..I know there here somewhere..or maybe i threw them away with that old pile of panheads and 80" flatheads..I dunno..can't remember...I'm gettin old

It's a great bike, Billy! I'm probably being overly cautious if the bike has been standing for a very long time - I completely change the oil to a new one. 5-10 years is a long time even for very high-quality synthetic oil.

Hard to find reproductions nowadays of leaf spring front ends sadly, love springers but the leaf is extra extra old school 🤘
Good to see I am not the only one that runs 20/50 in all my knuckles...Easier starting, and modern lucubration ...So many miles are lost on engines trying to warm up 60 weight to get it to flow...

I used to always run 69wt & 70wt oil, because that’s what the old timers taught me. But I’ve learned that it’s really a bad idea. We race the wheels off Harley-Davidson J & JD, & 45’s with synthetic 20W50. I’ve never had a lockup because of oil, & cam wear is normal. The other lie is that synthetic is no good.
