What a fantastic video , thankyou for this ,, just proves Billy was Ultravox soundwise ,, seems strange seeing Billy without his trademark Arp Oddy ,, but its still there in sampling methods in what ever he, s using , I'm still nearly all Analogue so not sure if its samled in our days or these Vst or what ever you call it lol , sorry for being ot up to date in the new technology lol , thanx again for showing this amazing man at his best

I have it directly from Dave Spiers that the Oddity was used.

Goes to show that you don't need all those expensive vintage stuff...

Chris, Billy and the boys use GForce Software soft synths pretty much exclusively. The Arp Odyssey soft synth is called The Oddity and sounds superb. All Gforce soft synths are peerless actually.
