I think this show makes the NWA more interesting because you see the behind the scenes politics, then its played out on the show itself. Pretty cool.

Funny that he always goes on about 'wrestling with' (pun intended) ghosts of the past musically, but focuses SP shows on their old hits for their old fans.. 😮

My apologies for the length, and even posting the first part here: To all the disparaging and negative comments with no constructive purpose, here or anywhere... Why? Is it really worth the split second of gratification? It's such a shitty, insidious drug. Instead of responding to this comment in the same manner or ignoring it altogether, stick with me and spend a moment considering the consequences. The internet isn't dead, it's brimming with people looking for an escape, at the cost of others. That's not new, but it is far more widespread. Isn't it even *remotely possible* that you contribute to the current state of the internet with a routine vote for hate, division, chaos, and disharmony? Try the other side. Slowly and methodically forcing yourself to be positive will absolutely reprogram your thoughts and actions. By expressing and embodying happiness, especially when you don't feel like it, you absolutely become a happier person in the long run. Yeah... most everything touched on here completely bounced off me for far too long. Don't be an idiot like me and wait years and years to really grasp that life is a gift. It's the equivalent of winning the lottery a few trillion times over. *It's beyond a fucking miracle*. Enjoy it. -- In other news... following Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlain, James Iha, and everyone else involved with the Smashing Pumpkins has been a treat and satisfying ride over the (gulp) decades. I initially found myself jarred by Billy Corgan's love of wrestling... as he alluded in the interview, it didn't make any sense. That's when it dawned on me. He's a damn good salesman. Part of the job is selling the mythical persona of "Billy Corgan: lead singer of the Smashing Pumpkins". Ofc it isn't all made up, but you can bet a lot of calculation goes into the equation.

I really wish he'd stop trying to stage wrestling matches during live performances. Billy getting bodyslammed at the 2010 MTV Mexico gig was ridiculous-- it threw the whole show off
