how the hell is this not popular?

These wealthy people also can feel emphaty but only for others of their own class. The majority of the people actualy get fooled by their appearance, admiring them, seeing them as their leaders, and not being aware that the elites live in a very diferent reality and never get into a closer relationship with somebody barely surviving financially as most of the population does, so they can't feel any empathy for the majority of the lower class even if they try. I guess having so much wealth and power in a society creates a huge ego that is impossible to be humble and have a humility.
