The 'underrated' comment always baffle me... Piper is the only female actor to have won all six of the currently available Best Actress awards in UK Theatre for a single performance. This accolade was achieved by her performance in Yerma.

That scene from Doomsday was literally the very first scene of Doctor Who I ever watched. I accidentally walked into my Mom's room while she was watching it. Safe to say it has always stuck with me, it still makes me cry so easily. I know it's the cliche, but Rose is absolutely my favorite companion and Tennant is my favorite Doctor.

OMG ME TOO!!!!!!!!!! My sister was watching it and was telling me about how Rose is the best character which led me down a lifetime of doctor who obsession that I still refuse to let go of cause it was my whole childhood

I met Billie Piper when I was a really little kid (I think I was like 9 years old) it was at a supercon in Miami I went with my older sister who introduced me to Doctor Who and it was a photo op with her and Jenna Coleman who plays Clara. I had been obsessed with doctor who at that age (still kind of am). I remember I was wearing a Minecraft shirt and I had a sonic screwdriver and Billie said to me “it’s a cool kid with a Minecraft shirt!!” and gave me the biggest hug and I’ll never forget it (she’s also really tall, idk if that was cause I was a little kid and that’s how I remember her but she was rly tall lol)

@@michaelantonyaustin 100% and her change up in penny dreadful, essentially playing two characters, the frail, dying Brona, versus who she comes back as after her death, really just shows how amazing and important a dramatic actor she is.

“Nice to meet you, Rose. Run for your life!” I became a Doctor Who fan on that very line.

I didn’t know that Billie Piper had appeared opposite Gillian Anderson. The fact that I predominantly know Anderson for her roles in Sex Education and The Crown, which both star incarnations of The Doctor, makes that rather amusing for me.

The funniest thing about "Because We Want To" was that half way through the week it was released it wasn't going to be a debut Number 1 single for Billie Piper due to it being released right in the midst of the world cup and at that time Three Lions '98 a re-recorded altered lyric version of the Euro 96 song by Baddiel & Skinner and Vindaloo by Fat Les were Number 1 & Number 2 in the charts. BUT England go knocked out by Argentina on penalties a match infamous for David Beckham's red card and that saw the sales of the 2 England World Cup tracks fall through the floor thus opening the door for Billie Piper. So her first number 1 was thanks Carlos Roa and Argentina becuase if England had beaten Argentina she wouldn't have got it.

So great to know she's really into I Hate Suzie

The Doctor and Rose was probably the best story line Doctor Who ever had. That was the shows peak. Then it plummeted into oblivion, unfortunately with the help of David Tennant.

You want spoiler? Ill give you THE spoiler. ROse MArioN Tyler became the Bad wolf girl that everyone knows. What everyone misses is.....Rose was our Doctor´s sister all along. (And series 1 & 2 was the origin story for our Doctor) = when 9th grabbed Rose hand that was the first event leading to the birth of our Doctor in end of Doomsday (off screen). Want an even bigger spoiler?? In end of Journeys end The bad girl and the man born out of war and chaos hooked up....(and they had a baby down the line) That became the Master. Wnat an even bigger spoiler???? ROse MArioN Tyler became ROMANA....(the girl with the many names) Want an even bigger spoiler?????? Romana became the (new Whoniverse) White guardian (as she was seen as in End of time (both parts) Want an even bigger spoiler????????? The (New WHoniverse) White Guardian over time is SANTA Want an even bigger spoiler????????? It was SANTA that sent the TARDIS to Amelia & Amy.....(yes Amy and Amelia was living in two different whoiversis remembering each others lives due to radiation form the timevortex leaking out of the crack in thier walls)) Want an even bigger spoiler?????????
