The eclectic contents of Billie Piper’s Prada handbag includes a stone cold beauty classic: a Mac lipliner in Spice (Linda Evangelista’s shade of choice in the ’90s), worn almost to the nub. “I think I got a year out of that, that’s how often I use it,” says the actor and now filmmaker in episode 47 of British Vogue’s In the Bag series, shot at the Lanesborough. Far from abandoning her make-up bag in lockdown, she continued to apply her favourite lip liner for the school run, or “to open the door to the Amazon guy”. Piper’s other essentials? A copy of Deborah Levy’s The Cost of Living, the Fee Greening scarf she uses as a face mask, a supply of Maoam sweets for her children, and a love note from her boyfriend she never leaves the house without (“He’s gonna die at that!”). True. And then I think of "Penny Dreadful". This show along with "Yerma" stage production actually made me realize she's quite a versatile actress. But, "that which we call a ROSE by any other name would smell as sweet" :)

I see her as the Teen Pop Star who was one of the best up and coming female singers of the 90’s with big potential to have been as big as Britney! 😊

@@queenchiomaofficial She was essentially the British Britney at the time, but the truth was, she was extremely unhappy in the music industry, so I’m glad she moved onto better things. She Wants You is a bop though.

I didn't realize she was a singer, too, and very famous in the UK as a singer. I just found out about that by googling her, because I couldn't remember the name of something I had seen her in. What a talented lady!

She has aged beautifully, ‘Honey to the Bee’ was my favourite song, I was 9 when it came out, I’m 31 now and I still love it and listen to it today 🥰

It’s possible. I fitted into my similarly sized Zac posen mini eartha cross body bag: my transportation card n some change in a flat purse shaped like a cat’s head (expenses paid with ApplePay), a tube of lip colour, eyeliner, a pack of cigarettes, a pair of sunglasses, body shop’s hand cream, Chanel Les Beiges compact powder, face blotters, 5ml vial fragrance, a sanitary pad & wired ear phones. My mobile phone is always in my pants’ or jeans’ pocket or I’ll just hold it. It’s a matter of arranging by stacking and slotting the things around. For almost 2 years, I went around with that bag set-up for work, running errands, dates and clubbing until the cross-body strap gave way. So I have since moved on to a similar sized Furla bag, not as fancy as her Prada bag but it works for me and helps me from sore shoulders and forearms :)
