To be fair, context is important. Sometimes people just fall out of love and realize other people are a better fit. I get the emotions behind it, but it's okay to feel upset and still know it's the right thing. Nobody has a claim to anybody. Context is important for sure (like the circumstances of how it ended) but just the idea of dating a friend's ex sounds bad, but that's just the feelings we attach to it. It could be a beautiful thing for those people. We're highly social animals so it doesn't surprise me that we could get upset when we feel a part of our intimate social circle threatened. Thoughts?

I completely agree Besides your experience with the guy could be completely different from what they might experience. It's understandable to feel bad that it never went how u wanted it to but that's life u live learn and move on. Its unreasonable to stop someone's happiness based on old resentments. Hence why letting go is essential but that's all based on context. I personally think the worst a guy could do is try to unalive me or abuses me physically or mentally for me to want to dissuade a friend from getting with that particular guy

This song tells a story omg. The person you love is cheating on you. You see the girl all the time when you look into his eyes and you feel like your worthless for taking him back. The ending gets me “and I wonder, do you see her, in the back of your mind, in my eyes” basically saying, do you still think about her when you look at me? 😔
