Going by my own depression and insecurity during most of my life, I believe she's tired of having to tell herself that she's good enough. I used to feel like I was at the bottom of a well looking up at other people. I got frustrated with myself for being down on myself. It took a long time to believe I was somebody. I think she went through that and said Hey, I'm tired of this and now she's more confident. She mentioned that in the Vanity Fair Third Year Same Interview on KZread.

You should probably watch her lyrics breakdown for this one on Genius. She has another vertical video for "You Should See Me in a Crown." I love this one. While watching Sherlock Holmes, Moriarty quips "You should see me in a crown." They thought, "great line!" and riffed the entire song from that. You don't often get to see a teenage girl singing about world domination. Fantastic.

Honestly I found this out yesterday while watching Sherlock, and was like is that a reference to Billie, or is Billie a reference to that

She had an interview on Genius where she explains this song but watch it to hear her vocals without any accompaniment. Incredible! Sorry - I didn't see the previous comment. (Great minds, think alike.)

When she is talking about her hands and her being from a broken mold it's because of the serious damage and injuries she still suffers daily. Broken/sprained ankles, Shin splints and her hip completely tearing apart, plus nerve damage in different parts like her hands, that's just been the last few years. If you watch her live you will see her perform in boot casts to keep her legs from more injury. Milan was her worst onstage foot injury, she went down in the very beginning but still came back and performed beautifully. She is a wonderful soul. My suggestion is a cover of 'the end of the world' on bbc1. Great reaction btw.

I suffered from depression&social anxiety. I can related to everything in this song. I dont want to be me.i show certain images in society but never tell.it hurts to tell.when I was 13 I tried to commit suicide because I hated being me. Was in mental rehab for a bit. Then again at 14. I can related to her completely. I got away from some of that but I still remembered.

The vertical videos were done that way for the uploads to Spotify. It is supposed to help the video show on the mobile screen without the typical distortion or white bars on the side. But, unfortunately the app still did the white bars, which frustrated Billie even more. But that's the reason.

Look at the genius interview of Billie doing idontwannabeyouanymore and you’ll see how close the voice matches to the music video. So she probably doesn’t use auto tune on all of her songs. If you still think that tho, then okay
