This was my introduction to Billie. I heard it for the first time a few months after it released so this is so nostalgic for me considering how big she’s gotten since. I’m glad y’all enjoyed it 😊

the deeper voice you hear in a lot of her songs (particularly hostage) is Finneas. he tends to do backing vocals in a majority of her earlier songs

Hostage is Billie’s best MV and most underrated song imho. It’s Finneas singing the whole song with her

Holy shit this EP goes so shockingly hard and it’s soooo nostalgic 😩 especially watch!

This is what introduced me to Billie way back in 2017. I remember discovering Ocean Eyes on youtube while listening to some random mellow songs because I was going through a heartbreak at that time and I just fell in love with how Ocean Eyes sounded. I don't really listen to many of her songs after this ep. Not because of her getting big but they weren't just my cup of tea anymore. There're some new songs of her I listen to but not the same way I fell in love with every track on this ep. I’m just really happy with how much she’s achieved especially at such a young age. She’s admirable with how talented she is! Wishing her all the best

Adding to your theory behind it being a story and her repeating the process with a different lover, maybe COPYCAT has a deeper meaning, and is a premonition of that feeling of copying and pasting her past relationship issues into her future ones

omg i started listening to billie when this ep dropped in 2017 and never thought about the way you guys did it, i'm amazed

i’m so happy about this video!! once again you guys delivered with a great one. the moment when jordan pieced together the cohesiveness in this project made me smile so big :) it was so cool getting to see you guys listen to these songs (some being for the first time) and also some that you both have brief memories of. i love this interpretation of the ep and i’m so happy you guys enjoyed it as much i have over the years. ps, it’s finneas singing with billie in hostage :)

21:56 I always figured that it was a comparison between breaking up with her boyfriend (‘my boy’). As if it’s considered a crime, or she did something very wrong by doing it, on par with an actual crime. I don’t know, but that’s what I like about Billie’s songs (and songs in general) you can come to your own conclusions and kind of alter it to fit to your own narrative. Speaking of, I love you guys’ thoughts on it! Usually when I watch these types of reactions I physically cannot sit still long enough to watch the entirety or listen to their thoughts/comments (ironic, I know, considering it’s a reaction) but I sat and listened to the whole reaction. I love you guys’ points and thoughts on the album-definitely becoming one of my favorite music reactions channels! Keep up the good work. :)
