I don't listen to Billie's music often, but I have to say this: this song healed something in my inner child and the whole complicated relationship with my biological parents and my grandparents who raised me. The delicacy, the sadness and can I say, conformity? that you love someone, feel bad about the circumstances that put you all there, but unfortunately, it's a reality that I cannot change. Goodness, I'm feeling too much right now,but even though it's an overwhelming feeling, it's something comforting that embraces the little me inside myself. What a beautiful and complicated thing!! This song reminds me of an empathetic sensitive soul vs a narcissistic one. That kind of friendship or romantic relationship, this song describes how we, the one with deep empathy and emotions feel throughout the realizations and eventual break up. We both were cut from similar cloths yet absorbed the trauma differently and went different ways in how we live, breathe, and treat those around us. I am so damaged I never want anyone to feel the way I have felt, he is so damaged he wants everyone to feel the way he feels to feel better. Damn. And we rarely ever know, until the relationship is about done and we look back. He knew though. He knew.

Billie's uniqueness is visible from album to album. She approaches what it means to be a complete and generally valid artist. This is by far her best album, very personal and unique in her musical style. It is an album that really inspires the color blue through every song released. Her voice is simply pure gold. A real singer who doesn't have to sexualize herself to promote herself. All I can say is respect for her choices and keeping her uniqueness over time.❤❤

If someone is confused about true blue and born blue than lemme tell you what actually it is, This song (Blue) is a reworked version of two of Eilish’s previously unreleased songs. The first song is “True Blue”, which Eilish and her brother Finneas recorded when they were fourteen and eighteen respectively. The full version of the demo was later leaked in February 2022, inspiring Eilish to work on it again.
