Mr . Withers is so , so good ! yes this came out in 1972 .

Such a great R&B soul singer songwriter from the 60's-80's. "Ain't No Sunshine" & "Lean On Me" are his 2 most famous songs but he had some other hits such as "Grandma's Hands", "Use Me", "Just The Two Of Us" etc. Sadly we lost him recently in 2020.

My favorite Bill Withers song. And that's saying a lot. I recommend Lean On Me next. A very different message.

Anything Bill Withers put out was a vibe! I'd suggest "Who Is He (And What Is He To You), "Kissin' My Love", and my personal favorite, the short and sweet "Grandma's Hands". He's worth a deep dive.

Dick Clark once said something to the effects of Bill Withers was the best story teller he had ever heard.

What a groove, what a cool af funky groove, Withers is just awesome

Two beautiful Withers' tunes: Sweet Wanomi and Hope She'll Be Happier. He writes in so many different styles, and is totally unique. Can't pin him down in any.

I've always loved his song, Who Is He. It's got a nice slow groove to it. And Grandma's Hands is a classic tune Imo. Use Me is such a cool song. I've played in a couple bands that would play it. It's always a crowd favorite.

Buddy Miles was the drummer for Jimi Hendrix and the Band of Gypsys, along with Billy Cox on bass. There is a version of "Them Changes", listed as simply "Changes" on the Band of Gypsys album (Jimi actually introduced the song as "Them Changes").
