Bill Nelson, criminally underrated musician . Should have been up there with the likes of David Bowie, A forerunner of musical styles that came later
@richfeddersen5173 Жыл бұрын
Love Bill. I sat next to him at Hammersmith Odeon watching U2 supporting Talking Heads on their Remain in Light tour. What a gent. A real person, a guitarist beyond belief, and a humble a friendly person. At the end of the show, Eno walked past, we were on the right hand side of the stalls. Bill followed on to go backstage,saying what a pleasure it was to have met me. The pleasure was all mine. Glad to see you’re still at it Bill!!

First saw the truly wonderful Be Bop Deluxe at Birmingham Town Hall in, I think, 1975. Thank you Bill Nelson for being a very important part of my life’s jigsaw, proud to say that my 18 year old lad is also a big fan proving that well crafted music does not age.

Bebop deluxe album Life in the Air Age which is coming after 2020. Brilliant album and music, way ahead of it's time as were many folk from the 20th century they put the 21st century to shame. The 21st century should be making music, designing aircraft and technology worthy of the 22nd century. Haha. Using modular electronics it's easy to invent the future, surely. Come on 21st century your lagging behind, surprise me. haha.
