Nuclear would be the only feasible way to refuel itself considering the immense lack of space to build solar panels or other renewable energy. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the Universe, and is readily available while having pretty much no environmental impact.

Renewable energy is a great inclusion for this yacht and yes it is definitely a fine yacht design. For that price I'd be expecting a complimentary membership at the Monaco Yacht club and a bottle of Moet & Chandon imperial brut upon arrival. $644 Million is in the higher price category for a Yacht, but what about the running costs, maintenance and mooring fees associated with the vessel ? Lets not forget about insurance and registration fees. How many staff are required to keep it functioning optimally ?

Chris & Tango #SaveTheBees it depends on how the hydrogen is created. Hydrogen is a way to store energy not to create it. For now most of the hydrogen is made by using fossil fuels but that is changing quite quick. They divide the creation of hydrogen in 3 possibilities: grey, blue and green. Green being hydrogen create by solar and wind energy. As for the future, hydrogen will probably be used for the bigger and stronger machines (trucks and bigger), smaller machinery will probably stick with batteries.. but who knows what the future looks like and what will be invented ;)

I imagine it will have the same problem as hydrogen powered cars: a lack of refueling stations. Maybe you could sail it from California to Japan and back, but other than that your options would be limited. @black zebra I've thought about that. The solution is to scale UP the infrastructure. If your production facility is BIG ENOUGH,you'll produce enough to power the facility AND build a surplus. There is ANOTHER solution also.

Gates is now wanted in something like 6 different countries, somehow I don’t think he’d have a whole lot of use for this thing.

Green Giant he’s wanted for genocide in parts of Africa for the deaths of something like 6 million kids due to one “Vaccine” as well as parts of Europe for the deaths of millions more due to yet another one of his “vacations” so, no unless he’s an absolute idiot he will not be leaving the US for a very very very long time.

It looks beautiful. Hydrogen sounds good as a concept. But where does all the hydrogen come from? How long does it take to produce the hydrogen required to propel this yacht? And how much it does it cost to produce this hydrogen?

The yacht does not exist- it's click bait. No connection to Gates either.

This yacht would be so cool to cruise around Lake Superior in the summer.

Hydrogen power for boats/yachts are definitely the way to go! Aqua, is most certainly magnificent and beautiful! The design can be for small boats and surely great innovation can come quickly about, should the demand be there?
