In 1969 me & my then girlfriend were in a movie theatre (in Sydney, Australia) and I noticed that Billy Dundee was sitting in the seat in front of me with his girlfriend (or wife?). Being a big wrestling fan, I tapped Bill on the shoulder. He turned around & I told him how much I enjoyed his wrestling style. Bill was very pleasant, thanked me & turned back around to watch the movie. From that day on, I thought that Bill was a very nice guy.

I was born and raised in Memphis and I grew up watching all these fellows since I was a little kid. My little brother and would walk to Channel 13 studio and watch them every Saturday morning before they over to Channel 5 studio and when we got old enough. We'd go to the Mid-South Coliseum for Monday night wrestling. Man, those were some great times and great memories. We got to witness most of what Bill is talking about.

Great to see Superstar Bill! He looks great! I hope he and his daughter are doing well with the death of his son in law, Beautiful Bobby Eaton! I heard a story that when he heard she was dating a wrestler, he asked who and when they said Bobby Eaton....he went from ready to kill someone to relieved and happy about it! Says a lot about Bobby-----such a tragic loss by one of the most underrated , underappreciated wrestlers of all time! Both Dundee and Eaton should be in the WWE Hall of Fame!
