I only have the closer to the first movie and the opening to the second one, but enjoy some vintage Bill Collins

I miss Bill and The Golden Years of Hollywood. I used to watch the movies he presented every Friday and Saturday nights and learned so much about the behind the scenes of old Hollywood. When l wrote to him as a young teen about my love for Errol Flynn and Olivia DeHavilland he wrote back and l was so happy. It's such a sad loss and a shame these wonderful old films and all their history is being forgotten now Bill's gone.

How blessed to grow up with this iconic Australian Gentleman when TV had substance

Man I miss the days of my youth in the 1980's that Bill on a Saturday night and on a Sunday afternoon was part of.

Such a big part of Australian culture. I would get even more excited to see a film while he’d be introducing it. RIP

His review of You Only Live Twice - and his fawning over the volcano sceen - was searing into my memory 35 years ago... so damn passionate. A legend. RIP Bill.

His passionate introductions almost ran as long as the films he spoke about. Fascinating and gifted. A star in his own right. Sailing high without asking for comments, likes or subscribers. Yep.

I always liked how enthusiastic and passionate Bill Collins was about the films he presented. Rest in Peace Bill Collins.
