i totally feel what Bill talks about all the time. People nowadays like to take things out of context, and by victimising themselves by it, use that excuse as a weapon to attack others. many times i find that, like out of 1000 problems with an issue, they pick the one most minor one, like "hey you talked about minorities/gender/religion, and i'm offended, and i'm going to go FULL HULK on you", but failed to realise that the talk about such things isn't totally negative in fact. That's why we discuss things, but it's people like that, that shut down discussions for their own selfish egos. it's absolutely disgusting

Any woman leaning in to give you a kiss on the cheek and Joe Biden doing it can only really be considered equal scenarios if you completely disregard the context of the real world. Chances are, you'd have less of a problem with a woman leaning in to give you a little-too-intimate kiss on the cheek, rather than Joe doing the same thing. And it has nothing to do with you being a straight guy. I'm a straight woman, and I'd rather go with the prior as well. You can call that a double standard if you want to. Directly afterwards she openly stated that if she had said that as a man / me a woman / my team men, that wouldn't fly, but until the paradigm shifts she's going to enjoy the "female" privilege.
