Summer was a really nice time of year to visit - it doesn't get anywhere near as hot as many of the other cities in Spain.
It's not the capital of the Basque country but the largest city.
Sorry, but the capital of the Basque country is not Bilbao. The capital is Vitoria-Gasteiz 😊
