Nice one Alan, this cheered me up this morning as i sit here nursing a broken wrist and itching to get out bikepacking, even having to miss WRT this year. Thanks for the inspiration and for creating another great video, hopefully another 4 or 5 weeks i can get back out 👍

Give the traditional rain gear a go Allen - a quality bike cape with hood - gaiters and waterproof foot ware or plastic bags / overshoes. The secret is to anchor down the cape by sitting on it, then pull up a bit so its not too tight on your back, the front has hand stirrups which anchor the front end ( extra flap right at the front goes over the handlebars and protects the hands ) I cycle all day in the rain with this setup - up here in "sunny" Scotland. Gives great rain protection and ventilation, haven't found a better way. All the best and thanks for sharing your trips.

We've had nowt but rain since before Christmas! I live just a couple of miles from Arnside, so recognised all of the trails in your video. Sorry you had to scratch... but you made the best of a bad job...and a great video, thanks for sharing cheers Alistair 👍

Did you get to Elaine's tea room in Feizor? You were close when you crossed the clapper bridge on the pennine bridleway. Its a favorite of mine when riding in the area.

Thank you! Yeah - the answer is a plug in mic or a Bluetooth mic. Just adds to the faff of a quick set up shot. I’ve got an idea though, so maybe the next one will be better. Fingers crossed. Still very much learning. Thanks for the feedback :)

Seemed to be a lot of road ! Or was it just the bits you filmed ? (I don’t do roads only when absolutely necessary BUT with all the wet in the ground…. Maybe

@@ericrobo777 yeah, there’s plenty of road for sure - but so many tracks too. I don’t really like road riding, but those roads are alright :)
