I rode the full route in 35 hours (on a rigid surly ogre). I think it can be ridden faster as I was not efficient with resupplies. I have fond memories of hallucinating sea turtles as I climbed Rincon Redbox.

This is one of the best videos to prepare future riders for this route. I know this video took a long time to edit, but your efforts are noticed and appreciated. Yes, filming and riding are harder than most realize. Cheers to all you bike-packing content creatures for your efforts and extra miles (KM) to place a camera, ride, and then go back to retrieve it. Great job!

Wow! What a great video. I stumbled on your feed and I've enjoyed both this video and the one in Southern Utah. I really enjoy watching your adventures. I only have one small comment-it would be awesome to know more about your riding partners. I think it's awesome you got to spend five days with your father. Would have loved to hear his thoughts on the bikepacking. Keep up the great work.

Awesome route breakdown and great video production! Thank you so much. I look forward to riding this route in 2024. I’ll be heading down from Chico in Nor Cal. Is there a month you’d recommend? I know baldy can be snowy!

I would shoot for April. But talk to a local for the current conditions and forecast on Baldy and that will help a lot. Even if you deal with some snow around Baldy, that time of year should be much more enjoyable for the rest of the route. Have a good ride.
